About Revive & Thrive

Revive & Thrive was founded in 2017 by Coach and Personal Trainer, Michelle Hasani following her own health trauma. Michelle’s primary objective in establishing Revive & Thrive is to support you to embrace life and transform your wellness.
In 2014 Michelle was at her peak; fit, strong, lean, healthy and happy. She had made major changes in her career the 18 months leading to this, with a major focus on quality lifestyle, quality relationships and stress reduction. Despite all of this, Michelle’s life took a major detour when she was diagnosed with early breast cancer.

“Oh, shit no-one ever wants to hear the ‘C’ word” she thought. The next 6 months Michelle underwent multiple surgeries, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Her journey through active treatment lasted 6 months and in 2016 after researching the best option for reconstruction commenced the journey of rebuilding her body and reclaiming some of what had been lost. This included 5 surgical procedures in 14 months. The healing following this has been ongoing.

Michelle’s experience with cancer has highlighted the gaps in our current health system and the need for services to support women to revive and thrive beyond their diagnosis and treatment and to find a way to make sense of their experience with cancer.

Michelle has over 25 years’ experience in coaching and development. She has dedicated most of her working life to helping vulnerable populations in Australia. Her work and life experience have taught her first hand, the importance of resilience, and reclaiming what is lost through health trauma. She is passionate about embracing life and living with purpose.

‘Healing takes time! I have spent the last few years redefining life and learning to embrace life beyond cancer and treatment.’

Michelle Hasani
